Over the first three parts of the Fantasy Land series, I’ve introduced you to how reality doesn’t apply to the world of non-profits, essentially making an alternate reality in which they operate and exist (“Welcome to Fantasy Land”).
In the second part, I showed how the residents of Fantasy Land cater to one, rather large customer. The government (“800-Pound Gorilla”) rules Fantasy Land, and all of the subjects serve its needs.
And in third part, I outlined the various strings attached to all of the money the 800-pound gorilla provides the residents of Fantasy Land (“The Price…Is Loyalty).
You can find the first three installments here:
In today’s post on Fantasy Land, I’ll attempt to help you understand why you should be worried about Fantasy Land warping your own reality.
As you’ve read through the first three parts of this, you probably find yourself considering Fantasy Land in a detached way. You may even be questioning some of your charitable contributions, or for the really ambitious, you’ve started pulling up 990’s and financials on local non-profit websites to understand things more clearly.
But in all of those cases, you’re still just an observer.
The material may be interesting to you and even a little instructive, but Fantasy Land might as well be Iceland. It has minimal impact on your day-to-day world, and, perhaps, thus far, you’ve had minimal exposure to workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion training – which I call D.I.E. Read more here:
Perhaps your kids are grown, or they’re still in preschool, or you assume that in your red county, Queer Theory and gender ideology are distant dangers.
They’re not.
Auron MacIntyre - Tweet (Heyworth)
Auron’s tweet shows it’s everywhere. In some town in the middle of Illinois, called “Heyworth”, a rural area in a section of the state that’s largely “red”, a teacher seeks to indoctrinate kids.
The NBC News “story” about this tries to downplay what happened, and worse, it manipulates and deceives its audience by including a picture of the teacher with a DIFFERENT book.
Check out these two tweets for how bad it really is.
Ashley St. Clair Tweet - (Heyworth)
Libs of Tik Tok Tweet - (Heyworth)
As someone with a foot in both worlds, I’m telling you this is not that unusual, and I’m here to warn you that the call you’re getting, is coming from inside the house.
Seeping In
Like a toxic mold or other pollutant, Fantasy Land is seeping into your world. Unlike the hazardous waste so obviously endangering East Palestine, Fantasy Land’s ideologies fester and grow in subtle and insidious ways that go largely unnoticed by you (like the teacher from Heyworth).
Have you heard what the Biden regime is doing with housing?
You can read about it here: NY Post - Housing or here: American Thinker - Leftists to Wreck Your Neighborhood.
Here are a couple of interesting highlights from the NY Post article:
“The Biden administration announced January 19 it will require all towns across America to submit ‘equity plans’ showing how they will make it possible for low-income people to live there, by providing affordable housing, transportation, and other resources.
Towns that don’t meet the cookie-cutter requirement for economic diversity will lose federal funding.”
Did you catch that last line?
Now, as you recall from the last part of Fantasy Land, it’s not just non-profits that are dependent on government funding. It’s also your libraries, your schools, and your towns and cities itself that depend on it.
You may live in “Anytown, USA” (or Heyworth) in a deep red part of Flyover Country, but I’d be willing to bet a lot of money that your community relies on federal funding.
That last sentence I quoted form the article is a shot across the bow for the people in local government where you live.
Comply or else.
Like a drug dealer, the government has cultivated addiction for years, funneling money through various entities into your communities, and now, the communist leftists in the Biden regime are flipping the switch to change your town to fit what they think is best.
They’re probably already defending the teacher from the small Illinois town, and they’ve got millions of foot soldiers just like her ready and awaiting orders.
You assumed you were safe, ensconced in your deep red enclave, away from the urban hellholes that most of our leftist run cities have become.
You’d be wrong.
And, like I wrote in “Resist or D.I.E” in September 2021, equity isn’t like equality. Equity is forcing everyone to the same level, even when it means lowering your standard of living, taking away everything you worked hard to achieve, or indoctrinating your kids.
Social Engineering at Scale
The chief export of Fantasy Land is failed policies and ideas.
The housing projects of the 60’s and 70’s, like Cabrini Green in Chicago, worked out so well, now they want to extend them into “Anytown, U.S.A”.
It didn’t work there, but the Biden regime insists on changing housing rules to export low-income, mass housing units into suburbs with larger lots and single-family homes.
You should ask “why?”
Consider public education ideas and policies.
Our schools are failing. Cities like Baltimore spend about $21,000 per student, and yet in 2021, 41% of Baltimore public school students earned a GPA of 1.0 or lower.
You can read the details Here.
Yet why do the teacher’s unions and federal education officials continue to push concepts like “social, emotional learning”? Why did that Heyworth teacher think it important to provide a book like that to her young students?
Not sure what this ideology called “Social, Emotional Learning” is? Read about that Here.
Social, emotional learning, SEL for short, is a lucrative industry, just like the D.I.E. (Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity).
All these ideas aim for one outcome: social engineering at scale.
They want to bend Flyover Country to their will and their ideology, and they’re using the tools of corporate HR (D.I.E.) and public education (SEL) and municipal government (through government money, like HUD funding) to enforce their dystopian, communist vision on all of us.
If we won’t agree willingly, they’ll implement it forcefully. HR reps will hold “struggle sessions” in the workplace to help you understand your “implicit bias” and your “white privilege”.
They’ll indoctrinate your kids in the finer points of Queer Theory and Critical Race Theory through the SEL infrastructure, and teachers like the one in Heyworth will instruct kids on the finer points of gay sex and using hook-up apps (to quote Libs of Tik Tok).
And they’ll wreck your suburban, middle-class dream, by importing low-income housing projects in your backyard.
This is why what happens in Fantasy Land matters. They export all of this to you, with government money as the drug of choice to force local schools, local governments, and local non-profits to implement it.
As I wrote almost 2 years ago in the post above: “Waging wars is more lucrative than winning them”.
What’s seeping out of Fantasy Land and infecting our local charities, our local schools, our communities, even the current invasion at our southern border, all of it is designed with one end in mind:
Power.
When you’ve spent $23 trillion (and counting) waging the “War on Poverty”, you can start to understand how these social problems will be even more lucrative than waging war in Ukraine or the Middle East. Fantasy Land exports these failed ideologies and policies throughout the country, with the explicit goal of making our government the “only” entity big enough to address it.
Their new soldier is the 40-something small-town teacher armed with books that will create a social contagion of gender confusion and dependence on Big Pharma and Big Government. These soldiers and their weapons cost less than the ones used to fight actual wars, meaning the profits that can be gleaned from it will be even bigger than the money laundering operation called the “war in Ukraine”.
Much of that government money, those trillions of your tax dollars, will go find their way into the pockets of the politicians and bureaucrats in power (or their family members, see “Biden, Hunter”), and into campaign coffers.
And whoever holds this governmental power, will be in control of ALL of that money.
Sleep on what’s happening in Fantasy Land at your own peril. Because just like the mass importation of illegal migrants, with uncertain motives and values, your community is importing something just as dangerous and insidious.
And their toxic waste will take generations to clean up.
